SatMagazine ran a teaser in this month’s issue on SRT’s forthcoming feature about the growing danger of satellite hacking and the need for satellite manufacturers and satcom companies to proof their systems against such breaches, also known as “cyber-hardening.”
Smith will publish a broader article in next month’s SatMagazine that covers the history of high-profile satellite breaches, the potentially devastating effects of those hacks and the best practices SRT employs and recommends that companies and government agencies adopt to protect their satellite communication channels.
