SRT Wireless COO J.R. Russell treks across Europe showcasing Thuraya’s VIPturbo and IP Commander

Last month, I had the opportunity to traverse Europe to introduce SRT Wireless’s groundbreaking new products – the VIPturbo and IP Commander – to customers and prospects. Now equipped with an unofficial degree in packing and unpacking, I’m happy to return home and share some insights from the trip.

Bringing the capabilities of these breakthrough devices to European markets was an incredible experience. We met with a variety of potential clients, including Ministry of Defense officials in the United Kingdom, France, Austria and Romania. During each stop, our meetings included live tests that just blew people away.  At one location, a Thuraya Service Provider tested the IP Commander by uploading high-definition live (IP Camera) video to his office while simultaneously downloading a movie, experiencing excellent throughput speeds. Having the ability to connect seamlessly to high-speed data networks from anywhere in the world translates into better mission-critical support and greater reliability when it is needed most.

On June 16-20, I attended Europe’s largest satellite technology show of the year, called Eurosatory (http://www.eurosatory.com/), in Paris.  Working with our partner Thuraya, we were thrilled to provide hands-on experiences and presentations for potential customers and were encouraged by their positive responses.

Altogether, we established and strengthened relationships with customers in new markets; demonstrated the advanced capabilities of SRT-engineered technology; and highlighted what makes our products so unique in the field of wireless communication technologies: reliability, power and simplicity. A few photos are posted below.  Meanwhile, stay tuned to the SRT Wireless Blog, where I’ll be posting more news about industry developments, SRT technologies and much more.
